Colombia Fedecafe Coffee Purchase Prices – Jul 31 (INO News)

Below are prices set by Colombia's National Federation of Coffee Growers, or Fedecafe, for purchases by the National Coffee Fund on Friday. The prices, for a 125-kilogram bag of parchment coffee, apply until further notice but normally stay in effect for a 24-hour period.

Colombia's National Federation of Coffee Growers, or Fedecafe, on Friday set the daily coffee export price at $1.9323 a pound, up from $1.9174/lb on July 30.

1004 EDT [Dow Jones] - ICE arabica coffee is trading near six-week highs on spec technical buying sparked by the weaker U.S. dollar and early strength in equities, an analyst says. Sep coffee is up 115 points at $1.2610, off of the $1.2690 high.

NJ town tells employees no more free coffee (Daily Record)

MONTVALE, N.J. (AP) — One New Jersey town has pulled the plug on taxpayer-funded coffeepot. Montvale has told borough employees the town will no longer pick up the tab for coffee, tea and cream.
