KUCHING: The Grand Margherita Hotel recently unveiled the brand new look of its main restaurant the Orchid Garden Coffee House. It was recently reopened after an extensive three-month renovation works.

Tully’s Coffee works to build its Asia business (Seattle Times)

Tully's Coffee CEO Tom O'Keefe made a whirlwind trip in November to Tokyo, Singapore, Ho Chi Minh City, Shanghai and Seoul, largely to meet with potential business partners about becoming Tully's licensees, like DK Retail recently did in South Korea. Its first store is scheduled to open there in March.

New coffee shop in downtown Selma (The Selma Enterprise)

Downtown Selma has a new coffee spot. Jackson's Java & Cafe opened Dec. 4 at 2052 Second St., the former location of Heavenly Grounds coffee/sandwich shop. Hours are 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mondays to Saturdays.

The St. Paul Public Library may add a new coffee shop—again—at its central downtown branch. WomenVenture, a St. Paul-based nonprofit, recommends bringing in a new coffee shop even though two previous vendors have come and gone at the downtown site since 2002.
